This recipe is a spin-off of my mother’s sausage casserole. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
16 oz elbow macaroni, cooked
6 tbsp butter
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
4 cups whole milk
4 cups shredded Cheddar Cheese
1lb smoked Gouda cheese
1 1/2 cups panko crumbs
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 tbsp smoked paprika
1 15oz can of spinach drained.
Preheat oven to 350
Cooke the pasta and set aside
Melt butter in a deep saucepan,
Whisk in flour over medium heat and keep whisking until bubbly
Gradually add in 2 milk, and continue to whisk until it begins to bubble>
Whisk in 2 cups of shredded cheddar, once melted whisk in the remaining cheddar.
Once melted whisk in gouda cheese
Once all cheese is melted, fold in kielbasa pieces and spinach.
Place in baking pan
Bake for 30 minutes
