Delicious Lemon Cream Cheese Bars

  • Lay one tube of crescent dough pastry sheet on the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish
  • Mix cream cheese, the zest of one lemon and the juice of two lemons (1/4 cup)
  • Spread cream cheese mixture over the pastry sheet
  • Place second pastry sheet on top
  • spread melted butter over top pastry sheet
  • sprinkle 2 tbsp sugar over butter
  • Bake at 350 F for 35 minutes

    Oh my goodness these were an absolute hit! Mom suggested however that we make the next one with the juice and zest of an orange and add cocoa powder (one of her favorite flavor combos). I’ll let you know the measurements we use and how it turns out. Thanks for sharing this one!!

    My husband asks for these every Father’s day and on his birthday. I do sprinkle blueberries on top of the cream cheese, he loves the taste of blueberries and lemon.
